In this post-Covid world, there remain threats that can disrupt your organization. We need to build in resilience to absorb shock and bounce back. We absorb shock through proactive risk management where prevention is better than cure. We bounce back by reactive plans and procedures that are tired and tested.
This course provides delegates with the skills to be able to achieve both risk and response within a certifiable structure and by using examples of current industry good practice relevant to the industrial sector of the delegates. It also provides participants with concrete solutions, strategies and insights into the delivery of an effective Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) including a scenario based simulation exercise as the culmination of the learning.
This practical course provides participants with a framework that is aligned with the UAE NCEMA 7000:2021, Business Continuity Institute (BCI) Good Practice Guidelines (GPG) v7 and ISO 22301:2019 Societal Security; and Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) requirements.
This course will be highly interactive and include group discussions, videos, case studies and syndicate work.
BIA and BCP Plan Templates will be applied during the course and given for use after the course. Supporting information, such as the Main Events List (MEL) for Exercise Planning and BC Steering Committee – Terms of Reference (ToR) will also be made available.
It includes specific templates for carrying-out a Business Impact Analysis (BIA), completion of a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and completion of a Business Continuity (BC) exercise that participants will be able to take away for use in their own organizations.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Business Continuity, Quality, Audit and IT professionals such as Business Continuity Manager (BCM), Business Continuity Coordinator (BCC), Crisis Manager (CM), IT Disaster Recovery (DR) Manager or anyone with the responsibility for, or involvement with Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and/or Technology and Auditing of Disaster Recovery Plans.
