Course Methodology

This course relies on individual and group exercises aimed at helping participants learn all critical activities for agile project management. The course also includes several case studies and presentations by participants, followed by group discussions. In addition, this course incorporates pre-and post-testing.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Express the core values of the Agile Manifesto and how they shape the guiding principles in adaptive approach frameworks
  • Discuss how to effectively promote a shared vision and purpose among the team and stakeholders in agile projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrate the concept of decomposing backlog items and compare the various techniques available to effectively understand the impact of prioritization, sizing and delivery of value
  • Analyze the criteria regarding agile metrics selection and application and evaluate potential risks and impediments in project environment
