He earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Business Management and Master of Arts in Educational Technology, with a concentration in Human Performance Technology, from Concordia University, Canada. He further enhanced his education with graduate certificates in leadership and human resources management from McGill University, Canada. Jimmy's professional credentials include certifications as a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Practitioner, a Human Resources Business Professional (HRBP) from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI), and a Certified Training Practitioner (CTP) from the Institute of Performance and Learning. He also holds designations as a Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from the Society of Human Resource Management and a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) from the Association of Talent Development (ATD) in the US.

Experience

Innovation, leadership, and operational excellence have been the hallmarks of Jimmy's professional journey. He began his career at Alarm Zone, a North American call center specializing in household alarm systems sales and support. There, he swiftly advanced to Team Supervisor, where he coordinated operations, developed best practices, and provided team coaching. His career led him to Standard Life Assurance Company of Canada as a Business Solutions Consultant. In this role, he led initiatives to streamline operational processes, develop training programs, and implement industry best practices. Before joining Meirc, Jimmy was Managing Director of HTD Consulting, specializing in eLearning, HR consulting, and training delivery. Following his arrival at Meirc Training & Consulting as a Management Consultant in 2012, his exceptional performance, fuelled by his passion for innovation, led to his appointment as Managing Director in 2025.
