Crisis Communication Management

How do crises affect organizations? What is a crisis and what are the signs? How would a crisis affect your organization, and do you have a plan in place to manage it?
All these questions need answers, and the aim of this webinar is to find those answers. Moreover, we will discuss the different types of crises, and what your role is, as a Public Relations professional, in handling the very sensitive communication management phase in such challenging situations. We will also focus on the main characteristics of a crisis, giving examples of successful and failed attempts of Public Relations departments in managing real-life crises.

Dr. Hanna El-Jor is a partner with Meirc Training & Consulting. He holds a bachelor of science from Northwestern State University of Louisiana and a doctorate from LaSalle University, both in the USA. Hanna has also earned a post graduate diploma in public relations and event management from the Fitzwilliam Institute in London and completed post graduate studies in safety promotion and risk management with the University of Karolinska in Sweden. In addition, he is an associate certified coach (ACC) by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
