Managing Projects using PRINCE2 Approach

25 August 2016 (Thursday)

PRINCE2 is considered the most widespread project management method in the world due to several reasons. First, it is built on project management principles that must be followed, but could be tailored to suit a specific project’s particular environment. Second, it provides a clear governance structure that organizes the relationship between the project board and the project management team. Third, it protects the project business justification by focusing decisions on the business case. In summary, the strength of PRINCE2 is that it provides a coherent end-to-end approach that is easy to learn and apply. It also allows project practitioners to continuously manage their projects by exception through clarifying project constraints in terms of tolerances.
